In my article on Travis Patron's incarceration by the RCMP, I noted that Patron is kind of not telling the whole story when he does his whole "no lawful charges have been laid against me," routine. I can't stress enough, I completely support Patron in fighting back against his persecution, but it's just kind of frustrating how he insists on pretending that he was just thrown in jail for no reason. I mean, he was thrown in jail for no GOOD reason, not no reason at all. Because of those posts, Patron now has one particular human right's group looking to get the law involved siting hate speech. Jaime Kirzner-Roberts is the director for the campaign against antisemitism with the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center or FSWC. Their goal is to seek out hatred and bigotry towards the Jewish community and to intervene and put a stop to it. Frankly, I don't have any faith that Patron is going to make any legal argument at all, to be completely honest, since he doesn't appear to think that the charges against him are lawful.
